Beginner Kids Lesson 

If you are planning to experience surfing for the very first time, this is the perfect lesson for you!

What better place for a kid to learn to surf than in a wave pool at Wet’n’Wild Sydney. Our beginner surf lessons are designed for kids aged 7-16 and are run in a fun, safe and controlled environment. The kids are given an introduction to surfing; learning all the basics from surf safety, warm-up, to paddling, to catching waves and standing up. With perfect beginner conditions being on offer, the kids will be hooked on surfing in no time.

Itinerary

About your Surf Lesson

Duration: 1 hour

The beginner kids surf lesson is about providing the first surfing experience in a safe and controlled environment; including:

  • Small kids groups including a ratio of 1 coach for every 6 students
  • Taught by friendly, experienced and hand-picked fully qualified Surfing Australia surf coaches
  • The lesson is taught in a relaxed, fun and supportive environment designed to build up your confidence in the waves
  • Professional and well organised lesson plan
  • Great way to meet new friends & have fun learning a new sport

Meeting Location

At least 15min prior to lesson commencing at the main gate, 427 Reservoir Rd, Sydney NSW 2148

Drop Off

Please arrive at least 15min before lesson start time

Things To Bring

You don’t really need to bring much to your surf lesson, but try to remember the following items:

  • Swimwear 
  • Towel
  • Your booking confirmation (printed or on your phone)
  • A HUGE smile!!

Cancellation Policy

At our surf school, we run surf lessons in all weather conditions, rain or shine, providing it is safe to do so, iF IT'S WET ITS WILD! If the conditions are unsafe due to high winds or lightning, then we will reschedule your lesson. If we change the time and you are unable to come to the new lesson, then we will provide a credit toward another lesson at a later date. If that is unsatisfactory we may issue a refund at our discretion.
If you would like to reschedule a lesson you have booked, we need at least 48 HOURS NOTICE. Failure to give the necessary notice will mean you forfeit the cost of that lesson. Under these circumstances there are no refunds, partial or otherwise.
