Adult Lessons 

If you are planning to experience surfing for the very first time, this is the perfect lesson for you!

Our beginner adult lessons are open to all beginners, designed to give adults an introduction to surfing through teaching all the basics from surf safety, warm-up, to paddling, to catching waves and standing up. Our instructors are there to help you learn by providing a safe, friendly environment for you to gain the confidence and technical skills needed to ease you into surfing.

Itinerary

About your Surf Lesson

Duration: 1 hour

The Adults surf lesson is about providing the first surfing experience in a safe and controlled environment; including:

  • Small groups including a ratio of 1 coach for every 6 students
  • Taught by friendly, experienced and hand-picked fully qualified Surfing Australia surf coaches 
  • The lesson covers all of the basics: from warm-up, to paddling, to catching waves and standing up
  • Includes important surf and safety rules
  • The lesson is taught in a relaxed, fun and supportive environment designed to build up your confidence in the waves
  • Professional and well organised lesson plan

 

Drop Off

Please Arrive at main gate at least 15min before lesson start time

 

 

Things To Bring

You don’t really need to bring much to your surf lesson, but try to remember the following items:

  • Swimwear 
  • Towel
  • Your booking confirmation (printed or on your phone)
  • A HUGE smile!!

We will provide you with the following when you arrive for your lesson:

  • Surfboard & legrope
  • Wetsuit
  • Rash Shirt

Cancellation Policy

At our surf school, we run surf lessons in all weather conditions, rain or shine, providing it is safe to do so, iF IT'S WET ITS WILD! If the conditions are unsafe due to high winds or lightning, then we will reschedule your lesson. If we change the time and you are unable to come to the new lesson, then we will provide a credit toward another lesson at a later date. If that is unsatisfactory we may issue a refund at our discretion.
If you would like to reschedule a lesson you have booked, we need at least 48 HOURS NOTICE. Failure to give the necessary notice will mean you forfeit the cost of that lesson. Under these circumstances there are no refunds, partial or otherwise.
